Research profile:
The main research interests of A.M. Wójcik include population genetics and evolution of mammals. She is particularly interested in the study of genetic variation by isoenzyme electrophoresis, morphometric and non-metric variation and chromosome polymorphism. Her ongoing studies are focused on: (1) genetic variation in relation to physiological and breeding parameters in the bank vole; (2) factors responsible for the maintenance of B-chromosome polymorphism in a population of the yellow-necked mouse; (3) morphometric and non-metric variation of the common shrew and the yellow-necked mouse. She is the author and co-author of 17 scientific papers and articles.
